Johann Heinrich Rupp (born June 8, 1874 in Niederwalgern ; † February 4, 1948 in Berlin-Wannsee ) was a German tailor, farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Rupp attended elementary school in his hometown from 1880 to 1888. He learned the tailoring trade in his father's house from 1888 to 1891. From 1903 he was a self-employed master. He was also the owner of a small farm that he managed himself and therefore half farm and half craft. From 1894 to 1896 he served in Infantry Regiment No. 81 in Frankfurt am Main . He was also a member of the municipal council, chairman and chief master of the Fronhausen clothing industry and deputy state chairman of the German Association of Craftsmen.

From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Kassel 5 ( Marburg , Frankenberg , Kirchhain ) and the German Social Party .
