Johann von Wylich

Johann von Wylich (* around 1600 ; † unknown) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Johann von Wylich came from the noble family Wylich and Lottum coming from the county of Kleve and was the son of Johann von Wylich zu Bernsaw († 1627) and his wife Sebastiana von Brempt († 1649). His sister Maria Elisabeth was married to Matthias von Nesselrode-Ehreshoven . Their sons Johann Matthias , Johann Bertram , Johann Sigismund , Johann Wilhelm and Johann Salentin were canons in the prince-bishopric of Münster .

Act

In 1623 Johann came into the possession of a cathedral priest from Münster . He studied law and presented on May 27, 1627 the degree certificate from the University of Bourges . The emancipation fell on July 10, 1627. On March 19, 1630 he opted for the curia of the late canon Ludolf Jobst von Schorlemer . On October 1, 1637, Johann renounced his benefice and married NN. Von Elverfeldt (widow von Blankart).
