Stanisław Kłosowicz

Stanisław Kłosowicz (born March 4, 1906 in Krasnoyarsk , † October 16, 1955 in Radom ) was a Polish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

After moving from Russia , he attended school in Poland. As a teenager he became a member of the Sportul Łodz association .

He won the traditional Polish race from Krakow to Zakopane three times (1927 to 1929) . He was able to finish the Tour of Poland in 1928 in third place, a year later he also won a stage in his home tour and was classified in 8th place. In 1928 he was nominated to take part in the Summer Olympics in Amsterdam . In the road race he came in 57th place, with the Polish team in 13th place. In 1932 he became Polish road racing champion . In that year, as in 1931, he was the best rider in the annual ranking of the Polish Cycling Federation. In 1932 he started at the UCI Road World Championships and finished 15th in the amateur road race.
