Jan Kluj

Jan Kluj (born February 27, 1910 in Poznań , † December 7, 1975 in Mysłowice ) was a Polish cyclist and national champion in cycling .

Athletic career

Kluj started his career for the clubs HCP Poznań and KKS Poznań . His greatest success was winning the Polish road race championship in 1946, when he won the race despite a fall just before the finish line. In 1936 and 1945 he won bronze medals at the Polish championships.

Familiar

He was the father of Lech and Marek Kluj, both of whom were also active as cyclists and whose coach he was also.
