Johanna Franziska Fidelis Antoinette Monika von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (* May 5, 1765 in Sigmaringen , † August 23, 1790 in Kirn ) was a princess of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen and by marriage Princess of Salm-Kyrburg .

Life

Johanna Franziska was a daughter of Prince Karl Friedrich von Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen (1724–1785) from his marriage to Johanna (1727–1787), daughter of Count Franz Wilhelm von Hohenzollern-Berg .

She married Prince Friedrich III in Strasbourg on November 29, 1781 . Johann Otto zu Salm-Kyrburg (1745–1794). On the occasion of the marriage, Johanna's brother Anton Alois became engaged to Friedrich's sister Amalie Zephyrine .

The financially troubled Frederick recovered financially with the enormous dowry of his wife and built the Hôtel de Salm in Paris from 1782 to 1787 , where the couple met the French nobility of pre-revolutionary France.

Johanna von Salm-Kyrburg was buried in the church of Kirn.
