Johanna Koslowsky

Johanna Koslowsky (born July 13, 1961 ) is a German singer in the field of historical performance practice and vocal teacher.

biography

Koslowsky began her vocal training with Hilde Wesselmann in Essen. After graduating from high school, he studied church music at the Cologne University of Music . She supplemented her training with lessons with Professor Bornemann in Hanover, with Michaela Krämer in Düsseldorf and with René Jacobs in Basel.

She specializes in music before 1800 and is a permanent member of Cantus Cölln . She has also performed with the ensembles Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin , Musica Alta Ripa , Musica Antiqua Cologne , Musica Fiata and Sequentia . Their interpretations are documented by national and international radio stations as well as numerous CD recordings. In addition to her work as a soloist, she is also active as a teacher.

She is married to the musician Konrad Junghänel and lives in Cologne .
