Galli developed the so-called " Galli Method ", which makes spontaneous play the basis of conflict resolution and personal growth, his own type model of seven cellar children and founded his own form of corporate theater . The Galli Group, which includes several theaters in Germany and abroad, also has a publishing house that sells products created by Galli. In 2000, the television documentary series " Lifelines " reported on the life of Johannes J. Galli.

From 2008 to 2012 Galli lived and worked in New York. He has lived and worked in Wiesbaden since 2012. At the age of 60, Galli suffered from walking difficulties and complete blindness as a result of kidney failure and progressive diabetes . Since then, working as a stage actor has not been so easy for him, but since then he has experienced a very productive literary creative phase and continues to direct films and plays.
