Johannes Jessen
Johannes Jessen (* December 12, 1880 in Garding ; † July 21, 1945 in Schleswig ) was a Protestant pastor and translated the Bible into Low German .
Johannes Jessen went to school in Schleswig and was pastor in Kosel from 1914 until he became the second pastor in Schleswig Cathedral in 1921 . He was then called to Ansgar Church in Kiel in 1930 and joined the Confessing Church during the Nazi era .
