Johannes Michiel Buckx
Johannes Michiel Buckx SCI (born August 6, 1881 in Born , † September 22, 1946 in Sittard ) was a Dutch clergyman and Apostolic Vicar of Finland .
Life
He was ordained a priest on July 26, 1925. The Pope appointed him Apostolic Administrator of Finland on March 20, 1921 . On May 23, 1923 Pius XI appointed him . the titular bishop of Doliche and Vicar Apostolic of Finland. The Cardinal Prefect of the Congregation De Propaganda Fide , Wilhelmus Marinus Cardinal van Rossum CSsR , donated him episcopal ordination on August 15 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were Johann Evangelist Erich Müller , Vicar Apostolic of Sweden , and Johannes Hendrik Olav Smit , Vicar Apostolic of Norway and Svalbard .
He resigned from his office on July 26, 1933.
