Johannes Siemann

Johannes Siemann (born August 6, 1893 in Plön , Schleswig-Holstein , † May 11, 1960 in Hanover ) was a German politician ( FDP ), member of the Appointed Lower Saxony State Parliament and member of the Appointed Hanover State Parliament .

Life

Johannes Siemann attended the humanistically oriented Kaiserin-Augusta-Viktoria-Gymnasium until he obtained his university entrance qualification in 1913. He then studied law and economics in Munich and Kiel and passed his legal clerkship exam in October 1916. He was a participant in the First World War . After the end of the war, he passed his major state law examination in October 1920. After a professional transition period, he worked as a lawyer at the Hanover local and regional court from 1922. He was appointed notary in July 1931. After the end of the Second World War he became a member of the board of directors of the bar association for the higher regional court district of Celle . He took over the chairmanship of the FDP (Democratic Union) in the Hanoverian district association and participated in the redefinition of the party. Together with Henri Nannen , he was the license holder of the FDP newspaper Hannoversche Abendpost .

From August 23, 1946 to October 29, 1946 he was a member of the appointed Hanover State Parliament and from December 9, 1946 to March 28, 1947 a member of the appointed Lower Saxony State Parliament. He took over the chairmanship of the FDP parliamentary group. He was also a deputy member of the Zone Advisory Council in 1947/48 , where he represented Hugo Knoop .
