Martin Hildebrandt

Martin Hildebrandt (born November 30, 1943 in Marienwerder ) is a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

Hildebrandt lived in Marienwerder until he fled with his family during the Second World War and after his escape moved to Bingen in Rhineland-Palatinate. He attended elementary school and the Stefan George-Gymnasium until 1957. Subsequently, he was a student at the Goethe-Gymnasium in Dieburg / Hessen until 1965 . After graduating from school, he became a soldier in the German Armed Forces for two years and then began studying political science and German in Tübingen . In 1968 he became the press spokesman for the general student committee in Tübingen. He was also an employee of the Frankfurter Rundschauuntil 1972. Hildebrandt passed his first and second state examination and between 1974 and 1982 worked as a teacher at the Christian high school in Hermannsburg. He was a member of the advisory board of Nord-LB and chairman of the supervisory board of Polnisax based in Warsaw.

Political party

Hildebrandt became a member of the FDP in 1968. He was local chairman of the FDP in Rottenburg am Neckar as well as deputy district chairman in Tübingen until 1974. In the district association in Celle he was deputy chairman from 1975 to 1977 and then until district chairman 1979. Since spring 1979 he was chairman of the FDP district association in Lüneburg and became a member of the FDP state executive in 1980. In 1992 he was appointed to the FDP federal executive committee.

Public offices

Hildebrandt became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from June 21, 1982 to June 20, 1994 in the tenth to twelfth electoral term . Here he was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group from June 22, 1986 to June 20, 1994.
