Johannes Viljoen
Johannes Viljoen ( Johannes Hendrikus "Snaar" Viljoen; born January 11, 1904 in Hanover , † September 3, 1976 in Centurion ) was a South African athlete .
At the Olympic Games in Amsterdam in 1928 , he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and the semi-finals over 110 m . In the long jump and triple jump he was eliminated from the qualification, the decathlon he broke off after seven disciplines.
In 1930 he won the British Empire Games in Hamilton in the high jump , won bronze in the long jump and was fourth over the 120 yard hurdles. At the British Empire Games in London in 1934 , he did not finish in the final over 120 yard hurdles.
