Johannes Willibrordus Maria Hendriks (born November 17, 1954 in Leidschendam ) is a Dutch clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Haarlem-Amsterdam .

Life

Johannes Willibrordus Maria Hendriks was ordained a priest on September 29, 1979 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on October 25, 2011 auxiliary bishop in Haarlem-Amsterdam and titular bishop of Arsacal . The Bishop of Haarlem-Amsterdam, Jozef Marianus Punt , donated him episcopal ordination on December 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Johannes Gerardus Maria van Burgsteden SSS , auxiliary bishop emeritus in Haarlem-Amsterdam, and Johannes Harmannes Jozefus van den Hende , Bishop of Rotterdam .

Pope Francis also appointed him a member of the Supreme Court of the Apostolic Signature on September 30, 2017 .

On December 22, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of Haarlem-Amsterdam. With the resignation of Jozef Marianus Punt on June 1, 2020, Johannes Willibrordus Maria Hendriks succeeded him as Bishop of Haarlem-Amsterdam.
