Jozef Marianus Punt (born January 10, 1946 in Alkmaar ) is a Dutch clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Haarlem-Amsterdam .

Life

Jozef Marianus Punt was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Haarlem on June 9, 1979 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Auxiliary Bishop in Haarlem on April 1, 1995 , Titular Bishop of Nasai and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinary of the Netherlands . The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Haarlem, Hendrik Joseph Alois Bomers CM , on July 1st of the same year; Co- consecrators were Adrianus Johannes Cardinal Simonis , Archbishop of Utrecht , and Franciscus Jozef Maria Wiertz , Bishop of Roermond .

On July 21, 2001 he was appointed Bishop of Haarlem. On June 1, 2020, Pope Francis accepted Jozef Marianus Punt's resignation from the office of Bishop of Haarlem-Amsterdam and the Apostolic Administrator of the Dutch Military Ordinary.
