Johannishain
The Johannishain is a park in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The park is located south of downtown Quedlinburg in the Süderstadt district on the Bleichberg . The facility is entered in the Quedlinburg monument register. The Johannis pen is located northwest of the park .
Plant and history
The park was created as a landscape park in the 19th century . The area belonged to the neighboring Johannis pen. The southern part of the park was originally the cemetery of the Johannis pen. The Quedlinburg Bismarck Tower, built in 1896, stands in the center of the park, which is now densely lined with trees . Since 1895 the facility was already called Bismarckhain . In the time of the GDR , the name was changed to Johannishain . The park and tower were sold to a private investor in 2014 by the owner, United Evangelical Holy Spirit and Sankt Johannis Hospitalgemeinde zu Quedlinburg .
