John Aaron Bennett (* 1984 in Flowery Branch , Georgia ) is a former American child actor , who gained international fame primarily for his role as John Morgan Bedford in the US television series I'll Fly Away .

Life

John Aaron Bennett was born in 1984, the eldest of five sons of chiropractor Al Bennett and his wife Kelly Bennett, a housewife and mother, in the small town of Flowery Branch, Georgia, and grew up in the small town a few miles north on Lake Lanier Gainesville , Georgia. In 1991 he got the role of John Morgan Bedford in the NBC southern series I'll Fly Away , in which he played the youngest son of District Attorney Forrest Bedford (played by Sam Waterson ) in all 38 episodes . In the two-hour television film I'll Fly Away: Then and Now, which was released after the series ended, he was again seen in his role as John Morgan Bedford . For his role in the series he was nominated at the 1991 Youth in Film Awards for a Youth in Film Award in the category "Exceptional Performance by a Young Actor Under Ten" and in 1993 in the category "Outstanding Actor Under Ten in a Television Series" excellent.

In 1993 he was also seen in the first episode of the seventh season of In the Heat of the Night , when he slipped into the role of Billy Ray Cayton . After he had worked alongside Ryan Seacrest and Abigail Gustafson on the television series Reality Check as Nick Bonner in 1995 , he largely withdrew from the acting business. At the age of 13 he entered the church service and from the age of 19 worked on planting a church. After studying communication science , he is doing his master's in a theological seminar . During an audition at Liberty University , he met his future wife Andrea, with whom he played the leading roles of the baker and his wife in a performance of Into the Woods . After they were married at the Bride's Church in 2008, they both started positions at Aaron Bennett's Church in Flowery Branch, Blackshear Place Baptist Church . Aaron Bennett served in the Children's Ministry as a Middle School Pastor , College Pastor, and various other church projects. Their first child, Valentine Alise Bennett, was born on March 24, 2014.
