Abigail Diane Hawk (born Abigail Diane Gustafson on May 4, 1985 in Marietta , Georgia ) is an American actress , best known for her role as Abigail Baker in the US television series Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York .

life and career

Abigail Hawk was born in Marietta , Georgia, to Robert and Diane Gustafson . After a drama training, which inter alia 1996 to 2000 at North Springs High School, since 2008 North Springs Charter School of Arts and Sciences, in Sandy Springs , Georgia, spent, she graduated in 2004, the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater . In 1995 she had already starred in the television series Reality Check alongside Ryan Seacrest and John Aaron Bennett as Samantha Bonner in one of the leading roles. It wasn't until 2006 that she had a small guest role in the television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , followed by a small role in the Oscar-nominated musical film Across the Universe in 2007.

After appearances in Kevan Tucker's independent film The Unidentified (2008) and in the title role in the short film The Tragedy of Maria Macabre (2010), she was played in 2010 as a supporting role in Detective 1st Grade Abigail Baker, assistant to New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (played by Tom Selleck ), committed to the CBS crime series Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York . There were disagreements with her name in the series, as she was listed as Melissa Baker at the beginning of the first season and then mostly under the name Abigail Baker or just Baker was addressed or cited. At the end of the 19th episode of the third season, Frank Reagan approaches her as Melissa. In the German-language dubbed version of the series, she is lent the voice of Melanie Hinze . Hinze was also Hawk's voice actress on an episode of Body of Proof in 2011.

In 2012 she was on an episode of Are We There Yet? and featured in an episode of The Jim Gaffigan Show in 2015 . In 2015 she also appeared as a segment director on The Peter Austin Noto Show and also appeared in these six episodes herself. In 2016, two more film productions in which Abigail Hawk was involved as an actress appeared. In Bubble Girl by Peter McGennis she can be seen in the role of Eva Young; while she starred as Ellie in Domenica Cameron-Scorseses , daughter of Martin Scorsese , Captain of the Land of Make Believe . She also works as a stage actress, including at the Malisa Theater Academy in New York City .

In 2009 she married Bryan Spies, a then-employee at Thomas Keller's Bouchon Bakery in New York City, while she herself ran an L'Occitane boutique there.
