John LaMotta
John LaMotta (born January 8, 1939 in Brooklyn , New York City ) is an American actor .
Life
LaMotta was best known for the role of Trevor Ochmonek in the television series Alf . He played the often intrusive and insensitive husband of the curious neighbor, Raquel Ochmonek . In an interview, he later described the series as "the worst thing I've ever done".
Before his engagement in the Alf series , LaMotta appeared in the films The Encounter and American Fighter, as well as in guest roles in numerous television series such as TJ Hooker and Knight Rider . After Alf , guest appearances followed at Emergency Room , Frasier , Die Nanny and Unser lautes Heim, among others .
LaMotta is the nephew of the famous boxer Jake LaMotta and was active as an amateur boxer himself. In German he was dubbed by actor and voice actor Norbert Gastell , who died in November 2015.
