John Pritchett
John Patrick Pritchett (born March 29, 1947 in Santa Monica , California ) is an American sound engineer .
Life
Pritchett began his career in 1981. Between 1983 ( Greyhounds ) and 2007 ( There Will Be Blood ) he worked on seven films by director Robert Altman . 2006 he worked for The Geisha with Kevin O'Connell , Greg P. Russell and Rick Kline for the Oscar in the category Sound Best nominated. In 2008 there was a nomination for the BAFTA Film Award in the Best Sound category for There Will Be Blood . A second Oscar nomination came in 2012 , along with Scott Millan and Bob Beemer for Road to Perdition . In 1993 he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for his work for television .
