John Stephen Knight
John Stephen Knight (born April 10, 1942 in Binghamton , New York , USA ) is auxiliary bishop emeritus in Toronto .
Life
John Stephen Knight was ordained a priest for the diocese of Saint Catharines on June 2, 1967 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Taraqua and auxiliary bishop in Toronto on April 27, 1992 . The Archbishop of Toronto, Aloysius Ambrozic , donated him episcopal ordination on June 24 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Leonard James Wall , Archbishop of Winnipeg , and Thomas Benjamin Fulton , Bishop of Saint Catharines.
He resigned from his office on April 9, 2000.
