Jolande Lischke-Pfister (* 1932 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German artist .

Biographical

From 1952, Jolande Lische-Pfister studied "Sculptural Design" with Theo Siegle at the Saarbrücken School of Arts and Crafts . In 1955 she moved to the University of Fine Arts in Berlin , where she studied with Karl Hartung . In 1956, after another two semesters, she passed her exam there. Since 1965 she has lived and worked as a freelance artist in the Saarbrücken district of St. Arnual . She is married to the photo artist and Otto Steinert student Joachim Lischke .

Jolande Lischke-Pfister's artistic fields of work are broad. In the area of ​​"plastic", she prefers to work with clay, plaster, metal, wood and stone. In the graphic field she prefers the techniques of etching , woodcut and drawing. In her paintings, natural motifs often appear. Lischke-Pfister is a member of the "Saar group of women artists". Since 2002 she has had her own studio in the former Saarbrücken-Scheidt waterworks .
