Jolande Lischke-Pfister
Jolande Lischke-Pfister (* 1932 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German artist .
Biographical
From 1952, Jolande Lische-Pfister studied "Sculptural Design" with Theo Siegle at the Saarbrücken School of Arts and Crafts . In 1955 she moved to the University of Fine Arts in Berlin , where she studied with Karl Hartung . In 1956, after another two semesters, she passed her exam there. Since 1965 she has lived and worked as a freelance artist in the Saarbrücken district of St. Arnual . She is married to the photo artist and Otto Steinert student Joachim Lischke .
Jolande Lischke-Pfister's artistic fields of work are broad. In the area of "plastic", she prefers to work with clay, plaster, metal, wood and stone. In the graphic field she prefers the techniques of etching , woodcut and drawing. In her paintings, natural motifs often appear. Lischke-Pfister is a member of the "Saar group of women artists". Since 2002 she has had her own studio in the former Saarbrücken-Scheidt waterworks .
