Jonas Anders

Jonas Anders (* 1987 in East Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Jonas Anders grew up in Berlin-Friedrichshain . He made his first acting experience in the theater youth club of the German theater . From 2007 to 2011 he completed his acting studies at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. During his studies in 2009 he made guest appearances at the Deutsches Theater as Andres in Jorinde Dröses Woyzeck production.

After graduating, Anders was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus from 2011 to 2015 .

In the summer of 2014 he played the title role in Hinkemann by Ernst Toller at the Salzburg Festival . In 2014 he was nominated for the promotional award for performing arts of the state capital Düsseldorf . In 2015 he was nominated in the category “Best Actor” for the Düsseldorf Theater Prize “Gustaf”.

Jonas Anders has been working as a freelance actor since 2015. In 2015 he appeared at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg in the roles of Antonio and Trinculo in Der Sturm . He had other guest engagements at the Altonaer Theater (regularly since 2016), at the Schauspielhaus Hamburg (2016, as Sultan Sherban in Thousand and One Nights , directed by Markus Bothe ) and at the Hamburger Kammerspiele (2017). 2017–2018 he was seen at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin in Sons of Dogs (based on novels by Ágota Kristóf ) directed by Nurkan Erpulat . In 2018 and 2019 he made guest appearances at Theater Basel and played at the Lichthof Theater in Hamburg in the production Cum-Ex Papers , which was awarded the theater prize Der FAUST 2019 in the category "Best Director".

Anders starred in a few short films and stood in front of the camera for a few TV productions. In March 2019 he was seen in a few episodes on the ARD television series Rote Rosen in a guest role as a buyer for a large supermarket chain. He also shot for the crime series Nord Nord Mord , Neben der Spur , Wilsberg and Sarah Kohr .

Different works as a speaker. He lives in Hamburg.
