Jonathan Evans-Jones

Jonathan Evans-Jones (born 20th century in South Wales ) is a Welsh violinist .

Jonathan Evans-Jones attended Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey until the age of 16 , and graduated from high school in Norwich . He completed his music studies at King's College in Cambridge in 1978 and was then enrolled as a student in Freiburg im Breisgau for two years . From 1980 to 1986 he was a member of the English Chamber Orchestra , then three years with the BBC Symphony Orchestra . He decided to start his own business and from then on he could be heard in numerous recordings from jazz to pop and on film scores. Well-known soundtracks were Madagascar , Kung Fu Panda , Shrek , World War Z , Twilight or Billy Elliot - I Will Dance .

In 1997 he played violinist Wallace Hartley in the movie Titanic . He performed there with the Swiss quintet I Salonisti .
