Jonathan Tropper

Jonathan Tropper (born February 19, 1970 in New York City ) is an American writer and screenwriter .

Life

Tropper studied literature and literary writing at New York University . Today he lives with his wife and three children in Westchester in the State of New York . He works full-time as a writer and gives writing seminars at the university. He has published six novels so far , all of which have been translated into German. In 2014 he adapted his novel of the same name from 2009 for the film Seven Damn Long Days .

Along with David Schickler he is one of the creators of Cinemax - action series Banshee - Small Town. Big Secrets. He writes screenplays and acts as executive producer for the series, which has been broadcast since January 2013 .
