The Jordan is a western source river of the Bever , a left tributary of the Weser in the district of Höxter in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The 6.5 km long stream has its source east of Frohnhausen , a district of the city of Brakel . From there it flows in a south-easterly direction to the Borgholz district of the city of Borgentreich and there on the southern outskirts. It continues in an easterly direction parallel to the L 837 state road , crosses under the B 241 and joins the Eselsbach to the Bever.
