Jordi Figueras Montel or Jordi Figueras or Jordi (born May 16, 1987 in Lleida ) is a Spanish football player who has been under contract with Racing Santander since July 1, 2018 .
Career
Figueras started with club football in the youth department of UE Lleida . In 2005 he moved to Real Madrid and played there for three years in the youth and third team. He then moved on to Celta Vigo B and one more season later to the parent club Celta Vigo .
In 2010 he moved to the Russian league for Rubin Kazan . Here he was under contract for two years, but was mostly loaned to other clubs during this time. In 2012 he moved to the Belgian club FC Bruges . He played for this club for a year and was loaned to Rayo Vallecano for the second half of the 2012/13 season.
In the summer transfer period 2013 he was signed by the Spanish club Betis Sevilla . For the second half of the 2015/16 season he was loaned to the Turkish first division club Eskişehirspor .
In July 2016 he signed a two-year contract with Karlsruher SC, valid until 2018 . There he made his debut in a 1-1 draw against VfL Bochum on matchday two. He scored his first goal for Karlsruhe in the meantime 1-1 in the 3-2 home win against Arminia Bielefeld on the 18th matchday of this season. After KSC was relegated to the third division at the end of the season, he was signed to the Indian club Atlético de Kolkata in September 2017 .
He returned to Spain for the 2018/19 season and joined the second division team Racing Santander .

In the 2013/14 season, Figueras is said to have been involved in match fixing together with teammates from Betis Sevilla. In March 2017, Pamplona prosecutors brought charges against Figueras for betting fraud. He is accused of having accepted 650,000 euros together with two other players and manipulating games for it.
