José Antonio Miranda Boacho , called Josete or Josete Miranda , (born July 22, 1998 in Getafe ) is a Spanish - Equatorial Guinean football player on the position of midfielder . Since 2012 he has been playing in the youth division of the Spanish first division club Getafe and has been part of the B team since 2015, with games in the Spanish third division .

Club career

José Antonio Miranda was born on July 22, 1998 in the city of Getafe , just outside the capital Madrid , where he grew up and learned to play football. He then came to his first club in the Tetuán district of Madrid , which is also home to the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu , from which he in turn joined the youth department of Real Madrid in 2010 via AD Unión Adarve . There he went through various youth league classes until 2012 and then switched to the youth team of Getafe FC , another Spanish first division club . From then on, he was in various youth teams of the club and was brought in by Pablo Franco Martín at the end of January 2015 for the first time in the club's third-highest Spanish football league . He sat in a 4-3 home win over UD Las Palmas Atlético, the reserve team of UD Las Palmas , for the first time unused on the bench of the third division. Subsequently, the 16-year-old midfielder made his debut in a 2-0 away win over UB Conquense on February 8, 2015 , when he came on the pitch for Mikel Orbegozo in the 90th minute shortly before the end of the game . For Josete this was the only third division appearance this season; with the team he finished this in eleventh place and thus in the middle of the table.

In the following season 2015/16 the team deteriorated increasingly. After 34 rounds completed so far, the B-team of FC Getafe is in 20th and last place in the table in Group 2 of the four-track Segunda División B. Josete was used by the new coach Rubén de la Red in various midfield positions, alternating as links - and right wing or attacking midfield was used. The positions mostly varied from game to game. This season, too, he was not able to distinguish himself as a regular player, was only used once for the full 90 minutes in his 22 league appearances to date (as of April 19, 2016) and also scored a goal in these 22 games. After he had his last brief assignment for the reserve at the end of February 2016, he has since returned to the club's youth and has not been part of the official Getafe B squad since then. After the team's relegation in 2016, he was an integral part of the Teams and was able to move up to the third division again in 2019.

National team career

After he was called up to the equatorial Guinea national football team on March 25, 2015 by the Argentine coach Esteban Becker , he made his debut the following day in a 2-0 defeat in the friendly against Egypt as the 16-year-old from the bench in the second half of the game came. He then played two more friendly internationals for Equatorial Guinea before Becker brought him into the selection that will take part in qualifying for the 2017 African Cup. There he was used in the game against Benin in June and in the encounter with South Sudan in September . He then played a friendly against Kosovo on October 10, 2015 , before qualifying for the 2018 World Cup with the national team in November 2015 . He was used by the Argentine of Armenian-Jewish descent and German roots in the return leg against Morocco and was eliminated there with a total score of 1: 2 in the second qualifying round.
