José Arturo Rivas Mortera (born October 18, 1984 in Coatzacoalcos , Veracruz ) is a Mexican football player on the position of defender .

career

Rivas began his professional career with the Delfines de Coatzacoalcos . He then switched to CD Zacatepec , where he spent much of the 2003/04 season. He moved from the Cañeros to the UANL Tigres , with whom he has already won the Mexican football championship three times and the 2014 cup competition in the Clausura . He also reached the final games of the Copa Libertadores 2015 with the Tigres , which were lost to the Argentinian record champions CA River Plate .
