José Cayetano Parra Novo
José Cayetano Parra Novo OP (born September 5, 1950 in Otívar , Spain ) is a Spanish religious and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Guatemala City .
Life
José Cayetano Parra Novo joined the religious order of the Dominicans at and received on October 28 in 1979 by the Bishop of Verapaz, Cobán , Gerardo Humberto Flores Reyes , the ordination .
On 11 November 2016 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Tubia and auxiliary bishop in Guatemala. The Apostolic Nuncio in Guatemala, Archbishop Nicolas Thevenin , donated him his episcopal ordination on January 21 of the following year. Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Guatemala City, Óscar Julio Vian Morales SDB , and the Former Bishop of Verapaz, Cobán, Gerardo Humberto Flores Reyes.
