José Manuel Serrano Arenas (born March 17, 1981 in Seville ), known as José Serrano , is a Spanish football player who plays for CD Alcalá in the Spanish Tercera División .

Player career

Initially, José Serrano played for four years, from 2000 to 2004, at Sevilla FC , but not for the first but for the second team of the Andalusians . His next step was to switch to the second division club Deportivo Xerez , with whom he finished 8th at the end of the season. After only one year he moved on to the second agency of UD Levante , where he figured out his chances of getting into the professional team of the relegated team, who started in 2005/2006 as the number 1 promotion candidate. And since the 2006/2007 season he has also been playing regularly as a central defender for the Levantines. At the end of the 2007/08 season he had to relegate his team from the Primera División. He moved to Rayo Vallecano in the Segunda División . There he was initially not used and only secured a regular place towards the end of the season. In December 2009 he lost his status and was no longer considered. In summer 2010, he moved to Cádiz CF in the Segunda División B . In the 2010/11 season he and his team missed promotion in the play-offs. In the 2011/12 season he hardly got a chance. In summer 2012 he moved to CD Alcalá in the Tercera División .
