José Ramón Astorga Salinas
José Ramón Astorga Salinas (born May 19, 1831 in Santiago de Chile , † December 1, 1906 ibid) was a Chilean Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Santiago de Chile .
Life
Jose Ramon Astorga Salinas received on 10 June 1854 sacrament of Holy Orders .
On June 22, 1899 Pope Leo XIII appointed him . the titular bishop of Martyropolis and auxiliary bishop in Santiago de Chile. The Archbishop of Santiago de Chile, Mariano Casanova y Casanova , donated him episcopal ordination on October 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Vicar Apostolic of Méndez y Gualaquiza , Giacomo Costamagna SDB , and the Bishop of Guayaquil , Roberto Maria Pozo y Martin SJ .
