José Rincon Bonilla

José Rincón Bonilla (born March 25, 1915 in Táriba , Venezuela , † May 14, 1984 in Caracas ) was a Venezuelan clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Caracas .

Life

José Rincón Bonilla received on 23 March 1940, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He became a doctor of theology doctorate .

On December 9, 1950, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Tamasus and auxiliary bishop in Zulia . The apostolic nuncio in Venezuela, Archbishop Armando Lombardi , donated him episcopal ordination on April 22, 1951 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Zulia, Marcos Sergio Godoy , and the Bishop of San Cristóbal de Venezuela , Rafael Ignacio Arias Blanco . In 1961 Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the auxiliary bishop in Caracas.

José Rincón Bonilla attended the first session of the Second Vatican Council .

His grave is in the chapel of Nuestra Señora de la Paz of the Cathedral of Caracas .
