Josef Hladký (born June 18, 1962 in Prague ) is a former Czech - German medley swimmer . He won four medals at the European Championships for Czechoslovakia and two for the Federal Republic of Germany, including the gold medal in the 100 m individual medal at the European Sprint Swimming Championships in 1991 in Gelsenkirchen .

Hladký had separated from the Czechoslovak team during the 1986 World Swimming Championships in Madrid and was later naturalized in Germany. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he was a member of the German team and finished 32nd in the 200 m medley.
