Josef Lindauer (classical philologist)

Josef Lindauer (born December 5, 1920 ; † December 13, 2012 ) was a German classical philologist and high school teacher .

Lindauer was a teacher, from 1967 to 1981 as senior director of studies also headmaster at the Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich , from 1964 to 1991 at the same time lecturer, among other things, for Bibelkoiné at the University of Munich , and has various bilingual editions of Sallust ( De coniuratione Catilinae , De bello Iugurthino , Appendix Sallustiana ) and the Germania des Tacitus including translation as well as various aids for acquiring the two ancient languages ​​(language course in Biblical Greek , verbal studies, grammar).
