Josef right
Josef Recht (born March 19, 1871 in Galicia , Austria-Hungary , † October 10, 1927 in Vienna ) was a Polish-Austrian actor and singer .
Life
Very little is known about legal life. The artist, who comes from the north-east of the Austro-Hungarian Empire , has appeared on various small stages since the late 19th century. When he came to Vienna, he stated that his profession was opera singer.
At the end of the First World War , Josef Recht began a short but intense film career. He was a Polish citizen after 1918 because of his region of birth and filmed mainly under the Austrian directors Jakob Julius Fleck and Luise Kolm as well as under Max Neufeld . Apart from his main role in Die Jüdin , Recht received only supporting roles.
Right was buried at the Gersthofer Friedhof (9-2-12) in Vienna.
