Josef Stollreiter

Josef Stollreiter (born February 5, 1885 in Munich , † February 10, 1975 in Überlingen ) was a German writer .

Life

The Catholic baptized, Munich-born Josef Stollreiter studied acting training for his compulsory education. After various appearances as an actor, he was committed to Stettin in 1919 . In 1925 he settled as a freelance writer in Mimmenhausen , in the Überlingen district in Baden-Württemberg . Josef Stollreiter died in February 1975 a few days after turning 90 in Überlingen.

The successful art and theater writer Josef Stollreiter stood out in particular as the author of novels and short stories that were widely read at the time .
