Josefine Adolfsson

Josefine Adolfsson (born October 27, 1973 in Vårby , Stockholm County ) is a Swedish writer , screenwriter and documentary filmmaker .

Life

Adolfsson completed an artistic education for stage and media at the Stockholm universities of Dramatiska Institutet and Stockholms dramatiska Högskola . She also studied economic history, literary studies and theater studies at the Universities of Stockholm and Lund as well as film and media studies at the University of Copenhagen . She then worked as a presenter, producer, reporter and columnist for society and culture newsrooms at the Swedish radio stations P1 and P3 . For her many years of work as the driving force behind the stage project Lava , a platform for non-established and alternative art in the Stockholm House of Culture, she was awarded the Gulddraken Prize of the newspaper Dagens Nyheter as Stockholm Woman of the Year in 2002.

Adolfsson writes novels, dramas , screenplays and film reviews. Her works move in the border area between fiction and reality. In addition to her writing activities, she makes documentaries . In 2001 she won the Prix ​​Europa with the radio documentary Titta inte sådär på mig . In 2012 she and Lisa Aschan received the Guldbagge Film Prize in the Best Screenplay for Apflickorna category.
