Joseph-Bernard Rosier
Joseph-Bernard Rosier (born October 18, 1804 in Béziers , † October 12, 1880 in Marseille ) was a French playwright , vaudevillist and librettist .
Life
Joseph-Bernard Rosier first worked as a clerk in a law firm before he began to teach theater and literature in 1830 as a rhetoric teacher. He wrote a large number of plays that were performed in the most famous theaters of the 19th century, for example the Théâtre du Vaudeville , the Théâtre des Variétés , the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin , the Comédie-Française and a few others.
