Joseph Bourdon , in some publications Jacques Bourdon , (born February 16, 1932 , † April 26, 2000 ) was a French rally and circuit racing driver .

Racing career

Joseph Bourdon was best known and successful as a rally driver. He drove in the French rally championship and started in the European rally championship on an Alpine A110 . He won the Rallye de la Côte Fleurie five times and the Ronde d'Armor twice in the 1970s . In 1969 he was tenth overall in the Tour de France for automobiles .

He was also active on the circuit. He contested the Le Mans 24-hour race twice , but was unable to classify in either event.
