Joseph Gangkofner
(Carl) Joseph Gangkofner (born March 2, 1804 in Oberstuben ; † February 5, 1862 in Dinkelsbühl ) was a German physician and politician.
Life
Gangkofner, son of a farmer, studied philosophy and medicine at the universities in Landshut and Munich from 1823 . In Munich he was a member of the Corps Bavaria from 1825 . In 1828 he received his doctorate in Munich as Dr. med. In 1827 he became a doctor at a hospital in Munich, and in 1828 a doctor for the poor in Passau . From 1829 to 1837 he was established as a general practitioner in Schwabach and Regensburg . In 1837 he became a district court doctor in Pottenstein, and in 1852 in Dinkelsbühl.
From May 18, 1848 to November 29, 1848 Gangkofner was a non-attached member of the Frankfurt National Assembly .
