Joseph Gontrand Décoste
Joseph Gontrand Décoste SJ (born April 24, 1957 in Saint-Jean-du-Sud ) is a Haitian clergyman and bishop of Jérémie .
Life
Joseph Gontrand DeCoste received on 1 July 1984, the priestly ordination , which entered Congregation of the Jesuits in 1998 and put the profession on.
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on August 6, 2009 Bishop of Jérémie.
The Archbishop of Port-au-Prince , Joseph Serge Miot , donated him episcopal ordination on October 18 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Bernardito Cleopas Auza , Apostolic Nuncio in Haiti , and Pierre-André Dumas , Bishop of Anse-à-Veau et Miragoâne .
