Joseph Hebting

Joseph Hebting (born November 13, 1822 in Vöhrenbach ; † March 26, 1888 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a wine merchant, landowner and member of the Reichstag .

Hebting was a wine merchant and landowner in Vöhrenbach and Freiburg im Breisgau , where he had lived since 1874.

From 1865 to 1871 he was a member of the Second Baden Chamber and from 1868 to 1870 a member of the Customs Parliament . From 1871 to 1874 and from 1877 to 1878 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party as a member of the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Baden 3 ( Schopfheim - Waldshut - Neustadt - Säckingen - Schönau - Sankt Blasien ).

A school is named after him in Vöhrenbach. The Baden administrative lawyer Franz Sales Hebting was his younger brother.
