Franz Sales Hebting

Franz Sales Hebting (born June 9, 1826 in Vöhrenbach ; † November 4, 1897 in Karlsruhe ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

After attending grammar schools and high schools in Konstanz , Offenburg and Freiburg im Breisgau , Franz Sales Hebting, the son of a wine merchant, studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg from 1844 to 1849 . In 1845 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . In 1850 he became a legal intern and in 1854 a trainee and intern at the Secretariat of the Government of the Upper Rhine District in Freiburg. In May 1855 he changed to the government of the Lower Rhine District in Mannheim in the same function , but initially supported the Baden exhibition commissioner at theParis World Exhibition before he took up service in Mannheim in 1856. In 1858 he was transferred to the Konstanz district office as assessor , where he was promoted to magistrate in 1859 . In 1860 he became the official board of the district office Schonau appointed and in 1864 bailiff transported. In 1865 he moved to the district office of Mosbach , in 1868 to the district office of Pforzheim , where he became city director in 1869, and in 1872 to the district office of Mannheim . In 1877 he was admitted to the Baden Ministry of the Interior, where he was first state commissioner for the regional commissioner district of Freiburg and from 1887 state commissioner for the state commissioner district of Karlsruhe . In 1890 he was appointed Privy Councilor 3rd class and retired.

In 1879 Hebting was given the task of introducing the Hereditary Grand Duke Friedrich into the administrative structures of the Grand Duchy of Baden . Furthermore, in 1890 he was chairman of the Baden disciplinary chamber of doctors, veterinarians and pharmacists and in 1897 chairman of the state aid committee for water damage. After his retirement he became involved in the nursing of the Badischer Frauenverein .

The Baden Oberamtmann and State Commissioner Heinrich Hebting was his son. The Reichstag deputy Joseph Hebting was his older brother.
