Hermann Kiefer

Hermann Kiefer (born November 22, 1867 in Karlsruhe , † September 20, 1946 in Heidelberg ; Protestant) was a lawyer and district administrator who had been in the Baden state service since 1893 .

Hermann Kiefer was the son of a railway foreman , he married Augusta, born Kaufmann on March 6, 1897 (* April 21, 1875, † November 1945). From this marriage there was a child. After studying law at the University of Heidelberg , which he obtained with a doctorate to become a Dr. iur. graduated, he was from June 20, 1893 trainee lawyer in the Baden state service.

career

Kiefer became a bailiff at the Karlsruhe district office on June 15, 1896 and changed to the position of a bailiff at the Breisach district office on December 9, 1899 , where he was promoted to senior bailiff on December 11, 1900 and at the same time became the head of the district. From January 15, 1904, he was senior bailiff and head of the district office in Engen and from October 29, 1908, senior bailiff and head of the district office in Emmendingen . On April 10, 1913, Hermann Kiefer was appointed senior bailiff and board member at the Bruchsal district office and was given the title of Privy Councilor. In 1923 he became the head of the district office in Heidelberg , where he was named district administrator from 1924 onwards because of the renaming . In 1927 he was appointed state commissioner for the districts of Freiburg im Breisgau , Lörrach and Offenburg , based in Freiburg. However, at the request of Kiefer, the appeal was revoked by the State Ministry. He retired on March 1, 1933.
