State Commissioner District Karlsruhe
The state commissioner district Karlsruhe was after the law on the organization of the Internal Administration from October 5, 1863 one of four national commissioner districts in Baden based in Karlsruhe . The previous four districts were dissolved and the now 59 district offices were subordinate to the Ministry of the Interior. As a supervisory authority, four state commissioners are superordinate to the district offices.
In addition to the state commissioner district of Karlsruhe, there was also the state commissioner district of Konstanz , the state commissioner district of Freiburg and the state commissioner district of Mannheim .
