The Achern district office with its official seat in Achern , a town in the west of Baden-Württemberg in the Ortenau district , was founded in 1805 and dissolved in 1924.

history

The Achern district office comprised the areas in the north of today's Ortenaukreis and in the south of today's Rastatt district and was composed as follows:

With the end of the Holy Roman Empire , the above-mentioned offices fell to Baden between 1803 and 1806 .

The Achern district office belonged to the Murgkreis until 1819 and then to the Kinzigkreis until 1832 . From 1832 to 1864 the Achern district office belonged to the Middle Rhine District and then to the state commissioner district of Karlsruhe until it was dissolved .

Until 1924, the district office was housed in the building at Allerheiligenstrasse 5, which was built in 1883.
