Moritz Seubert (administrative officer)

Moritz Seubert (born February 9, 1852 in Karlsruhe , † November 29, 1905 in Tübingen ) was a German administrative and ministerial official.

Life

Moritz Seubert, son of the botanist Moritz August Seubert , took part in the Franco-German War as a voluntary high school graduate . He then studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen . In 1872 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Baden state service. In 1880 he became a clerk at the district office in Lörrach , later at the district office in Konstanz and in 1885 at the district office in Mannheim . In 1886 he became a councilor at the Baden high school board. In 1888 he was appointed senior administrator and board member of the Säckingen district office . In 1891 he moved to the district office of Müllheim , in 1893 to the district office of Achern and in 1896 to the district office of Donaueschingen . In 1899 he was appointed to the Baden Ministry of the Interior as Ministerialrat. In 1900 he also became a member of the State Insurance Office. In the year of his death, 1905, he was appointed to the Secret Upper Government Council.
