Adolf Fohrenbach

Adolf August Föhrenbach (born April 19, 1845 in Karlsruhe , † November 29, 1928 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) was a German lawyer and civil servant from Baden. He had been in the Baden state service since 1872 and was state commissioner . He was retired on May 1, 1910.

Life

family

Adolf Föhrenbach was the son of August Föhrenbach, Privy Councilor in Freiburg and Karlsruhe, and Emma née Wänker. On August 11, 1885, he married Anna, née Hebting (born October 30, 1860), daughter of the Hebting Privy Councilor. From this marriage there were two children: Gabriele (born September 27, 1889) and Erich (born July 11, 1892).

education

After graduating from high school in 1864 at the Lyzeum Freiburg, Föhrenbach studied law at the University of Heidelberg from the winter semester 1864/65 and then from the winter semester 1865/66 to the summer semester 1868 at the University of Freiburg . During his studies in Heidelberg he became a member of the Frankonia Heidelberg fraternity in the winter semester of 1864/65 . After the first state examination , he became an intern at the Wiesloch District Court on December 24, 1868, and then at the Konstanz District Court on May 1, 1869 and finally at the Freiburg District and Court Court on January 1, 1870 . After working at the district court in Lörrach and at the Freiburg district office , he became a trainee lawyer on May 4, 1871.

career

On January 15, 1872, Adolf Föhrenbach became a trainee lawyer and third official at the Freiburg District Office. In December 1872 he was service administrator at the Oberkirch district office and on January 28, 1873 he was service administrator at the Emmendingen district office and then at the Sinsheim and Baden district offices .

On July 2, 1874 Föhrenbach was bailiff at the District Office in Karlsruhe , on 24 January 1877 Official Board at the District Office St. Blaise and he was promoted there on April 23, 1879 bailiff. From June 27, 1882 he was the head of the Eberbach district office and from April 9, 1884 the head of the Schopfheim district office . On June 14, 1890, he was appointed head of the Offenburg district office and on March 29, 1893, he was appointed a secret councilor.

On March 16, 1896, he was appointed senior bailiff at the Freiburg district office and on March 11, 1899, he was appointed senior bailiff at the Karlsruhe district office. On July 17, 1902, he was appointed to the Secret Upper Government Council. From March 16, 1906, Adolf Föhrenbach was a collegiate member of the Ministry of the Interior and state commissioner for the districts of Karlsruhe and Baden based in Karlsruhe. Finally, on May 1, 1910, he was appointed Privy Councilor 2nd class and retired at the same time.
