Josef Shiloach

Josef Shiloach ( Hebrew יוסף שילוח; * July 9, 1941 in Iranian Kurdistan ; † January 3, 2011 in Tel Aviv-Jaffa ) was an Israeli actor .

Life

Shiloach came to Israel in 1950. After attending the Beit Zvi drama school , he played his first film role in Mishpachat simchon in 1964 ; he was then in numerous classics of Israeli cinema, e.g. B. Hagiga b'snuker , Eis am Stiel and later also in international productions such as Rambo III , The Mummy Lives or Not Without Seeing My Daughter . He was also a frequent guest on television. In addition to his specialty - comic roles with a strong Persian accent - he was also cast in dramatic roles.

In 2009 he received the prize for his life's work at the Jerusalem Film Festival .
