Joseph of Pölnitz
Joseph Adam Anton Freiherr von Pölnitz (born February 4, 1792 in Würzburg , † February 22, 1865 ) was the Royal Bavarian Chamberlain and Land Commissioner (today: District Administrator ).
Life
He was born the son of the Fürstlich Würzburg master hunter Philipp Anton Freiherr von Pölnitz and Magdalena von Welden .
Pölnitz first studied law at the universities of Würzburg , Erlangen and Landshut .
He later joined the Bavarian military. In 1812 he was a second lieutenant in the 1st Line Infantry - Regiment . In the following year 1813 he was transferred to the 1st Chevaulegers Regiment . From 1817 on, as a military member on leave, he received practical training in civil administration in Zweibrücken . In 1822, Pölnitz was dismissed from the military for employment in civilian clothes.
